Pageant contestants whitened their smiles using Opalescence Boost.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH--Opalescence was a shared secret among Miss Black USA Pageant contestants during the final event Aug. 7, 2011, in Washington, D.C.

The 30 contestants whitened their smiles using Opalescence Boost for their final walk down the Lincoln Center’s red carpet. Miss Texas, Ocielia Gibson, was full of smiles as she was crowned Miss Black USA.

Opalescence debuts product

Founded in 1986, the Miss Black USA Pageant showcases African American women across the nation with aspirations to showcase their talent, beauty, and drive. The pageant is a community-driven organization committed to providing educational opportunities to outstanding young women of color. The pageant mission is to develop the whole woman in “mind, body, and spirit.”

Each Miss Black USA Pageant contestant was evaluated and treated by Dr. Catrise Austin of New York, N.Y., prior to the final event.
