Seattle-based Web services provider names high-tech industry veteran Mike Nelson to position of chief operating officer/chief technology officer.

SEATTLE, Washington--Sesame Communications, a dental industry pioneer in online patient connection systems, has announced that Mike Nelson has assumed the role of chief operating officer/chief technology officer.

Nelson is a high-tech industry veteran and has delivered feature-rich Internet applications for high availability. Most recently, Nelson led the definition and development of Growth Leader, an online advertising, Web site, and contact management system in the real estate space.

In his new role, Nelson will lead the development of the next generation in online patient connection systems that capitalizes on Web design and development, search, patient reminders, and online patient portals to optimize patient acquisition, retention, and referrals.

The new solution suite will be designed to further enhance practice efficiencies and ROI while integrating with practice-management software.
