$50,000 donation to assist the NADL Foundation for Dental Technology
The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council and the National Association for Dental Laboratories have committed to a five-year support program for The Foundation for Dental Technology. Between 2010 and 2014 the Council will contribute a total of $50,000 to the Foundation’s work.
“The Foundation’s mission is to support dental technology,” said Dave Sklarski, president of the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council. “All the companies participating in the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram program have a vested interest in the growth of dental technology, and we’re pleased to be able to support the Foundation with this donation.”
“The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council has always represented the highest standards for our industry, always taking the lead on forward-thinking concepts,” noted Bart Donnell, CDT, chair of The Foundation. “This generous contribution indicates the Council’s commitment to the future of dental laboratory technology in terms of standards and education. The companies that participate in the IdentAlloy and IdentCeram programs are to be commended for their leadership.”
The purpose of The Foundation is to advance the profession of dental laboratory technology by developing educational curriculum and programs that will be relevant and accessible to dental technicians and other members of the dental team.
The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council is a nonprofit organization formed to raise health care standards through the documentation of alloys and ceramic materials used in dental restorations.
