Company to launche EXPLORE 2010 Forum in San Francisco, Calif.

CHICAGO, Illinois--Hu-Friedy, a leader in the manufacture of dental instruments, has announced EXPLORE 2010.

EXPLORE 2010 is the company's first educational forum that is focused on bringing information, education, and new products directly to dental professionals.

The EXPLORE 2010 hygienist forum is a two-day event , June 10-11, 2010, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco, Calif. The event will feature hands-on product demonstrations, free continuing education classes, and peer networking opportunities.

Ron Saslow, president and CEO of Hu-Friedy, said, “In today’s challenging economic environment, it is not always possible for dental professionals to take the time to attend dental conferences, so we feel that this unique platform is a great way to provide easy access to the practical techniques, instrumentation, and education that will help optimize performance and enhance patient care”.

Dental hygienists can obtain free continuing education credit by attending one or both of the courses that will be offered. “The Balancing Act” will consider how to obtain harmony and results with dental instruments. Instructors are Julie Morrill, RDH, and Sherry Burns, RDH. Burns will also offer a course entitled “Common Myths of Clinical
Procedures.”

The EXPLORE 2010 event will feature information about how to incorporate environmental responsibility into dental practices, and the opportunity for a test-run with recent innovations in hand instrumentation and advanced ultrasonic scaling technology.
