Vident titanium restoration course

EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada--Dentists and technicians from across Canada traveled to the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology here to attend a hands-on course on how to prepare successful restorations with milled titanium. To read more about Vident, go to Vident.Led by Vident Technical Instructor, Ken Chizick, RDT, CDT, attendees learned specific techniques on the preparation of Nobel Procera Titanium Alloy and the application of VITA titanium porcelain. A brief lecture covering titanium technology and VITA furnace calibration for titanium was discussed, followed by the preparation of VITA bonder application and furnace thermodynamics.
