Henry Schein appoints Chris Heim as vice president, chief financial officer

Heim promoted to posts for Henry Schein Practice Solutions.

MELVILLE, New York--Henry Schein, Inc., a provider of health-care products and services to office-based practitioners in the combined North American and European markets, has announced that Chris Heim has been promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Henry Schein Practice Solutions.

In his new role, Heim will continue to have responsibility for the HSPS finance team and he will act as chief financial officer for HSPS. He has been with Henry Schein for more than four years, as controller for Henry Schein Practice Solutions.

Heim previously worked as finance officer for the governor of Utah. While working for the state, he oversaw the financial aspects of Utah's information technology infrastructure.

Additionally, worked for as vice president and controller for Excite, which was later acquired by AT&T, as controller for iMall, and as a financial analyst for Sony Pictures International.

Heim received an M.B.A. from Westminster University. He is also a certified public accountant and a certified information technology professional.
