OrthoSynetics opens regional offices

New locations are in Dallas and Atlanta.

METAIRIE, Louisiana--OrthoSynetics, a provider of business services to orthodontic and dental practices worldwide, has opened new offices in Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Ga., to better serve the company's practices throughout the region.

"These new regional offices confirm our operating principle that the heart of our organization is not at our corporate headquarters, but in the hundreds of practices we serve each day," said Chris Roussos, president and CEO of OrthoSynetics. "This is part of our commitment to expanding and strengthening our infrastructure to provide superior service to our existing customers, while bringing new doctors and practices in to the OrthoSynetics family."

The Dallas-Fort Worth office will serve as the part time operations base for Roussos and Tim Tiffin, the company's chief information officer. The company also has recruited professionals Faith Gaskins and Emily Tweto to staff the new office.

Gaskins will serve as DFW Regional Manager/Insurance Planning. With more than fifteen years of dental industry experience, Gaskins will serve as the company's DFW Regional Manager/Insurance Planning. A graduate of the Texas College of Medical and Dental Careers, she previously served as System Manager with Brightnow! Transition, where she handled insurance planning and payroll systems for doctors throughout Tennessee. Her diverse experience includes insurance planning, call center management and working in a practice serving as a dental assistant.

Emily Tweto joins OrthoSynetics as Executive Administrative Assistant. She will work with Tim Tiffin in the information technology department, and help to manage the day-to-day operations of the Dallas office. She joins the company as a recent graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage.

The Atlanta office will serve as the home office of Susan McElvy, director of practice enhancement consulting, and Don Caputo, who has joined the company as director of integrations.

Caputo brings 19 years of technology management experience, most recently serving as general manager for Specialty Appliances, a national orthodontic lab provider of fixed and removable dental appliances.

With a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in computer technology, he previously served as vice president of operations at Oasys Practice, director of IT services for Arthur Anderson, and director of customer service with PracticeWorks. Caputo is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in computer technology.
