Professional Disposables International provides Chlorascrub to relief effort.

Direct Relief, a 60-year-old charitable organization that assists communities confronting enormous hardships such as natural disasters and refugee populations, recently received a donation of Chlorascrub from Professional Disposables International, Inc.

"As part of our company's mission to help prevent infections, it's our corporate obligation to donate materials to organizations such as Direct Relief," said Zachary Julius, president, PDI. "Direct Relief makes a substantial difference in the lives of individuals who have been challenged by forces that are out of their control. They have the means to distribute our product to those who will need it the most. We are pleased to help in this way."

During each of the past seven years, each dollar spent by Direct Relief has provided between $21 and $35 (wholesale) of medical materials specifically requested by in-country health professionals to care for patients. Direct Relief provides these materials by either financial donations or, in the case of PDI, puts product directly into the hands of those who need it.

Chlorascrub is the only FDA approved Chlorhexidine Gluconate product available for use prior to surgery and injection, consisting of 3.15% Chlorhexidine Gluconate (w/v) and 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (v/v).

Its unique one-step delivery system with peel-apart[1] <#_ftn1> packaging makes Chlorascrub ready to use and requires no pre-activation or mixing of the CHG/IPA solutions.
