CHESAPEAKE, Virginia--Accutech Orthodontic Lab, Inc. has announced the appointment of Sean Ruppert, CDT, to the position of client service manager.

The announcement was made by Accutech Chief Marketing Officer Daryl Mathias, CDT.

According to Mathias, Ruppert's new position is to assist new and existing clients with a focus on providing the best customer service possible. He will accomplish this by working very closely with Accutech's production team and quality control managers, and by contacting all Accutech clients on a regular basis.

Ruppert will also make personal office visits and attend trade shows to meet with clients in efforts to help them achieve their goals.

"Sean has been a true leader to Accutech's production team, and he will be a tremendous asset to our clients in his new position," Mathias said. "Sean was perfect for this appointment. He has plenty of clinical orthodontic chair-side experience and is a highly-skilled laboratory technician in all areas of appliance design and fabrication."

Ruppert has worked at Accutech since 1996 where he started as a laboratory technician. For the last seven years, he was the production manager at the lab's Richmond location. Ruppert earned his AAS in dental technology from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in 1994. He became a CDT in orthodontics three years later.

Ruppert teaches an orthodontic class at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and serves on the school's advisory board. He also facilitates "Lunch and Learns" to clients and universities.
