INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana--Renaissance Systems & Services has added real-time claim submission to its Remote Lite software after customers responded that the capability would be of value to their offices.

"Adding value for our clients has been the key to our success," said RSS President Erick Paul. "That begins with listening to what is most important to them and meeting those needs.

"Dental offices have made it clear that a real-time claim--the ability to have a claim processed by the insurance company while the patient is still in the office--was the most important new feature for our clients," Paul added. "This allows an office to deal with coverage issues and collect the patient liability at the time of the service."

RSS has also added R-Backup, a disaster recovery tool that provides 250MB of HIPAA-compliant storage for clients at no additional cost. Larger amounts of storage are available.
