2009 dental office design competition winners announced

Practice types with newly built offices or offices with leasehold improvements or renovations completed between Jan. 1, 2006, and Dec. 31, 2008, were eligible to enter.

EMERYVILLE, California--Matsco, a provider of dental practice financing, Dental Economics®, ADA Business Resources and the American Dental Association have announced the winners of the 2009 Dental Office Design Competition.

Practice types with newly built offices or offices with leasehold improvements or renovations completed between Jan. 1, 2006, and Dec. 31, 2008, were eligible to enter.

A panel of dental industry and design experts selected the winners, which were announced at the 2009 ADA Annual Session in Honolulu, Hawaii. Winners included:

Dental Office Design of the Year
Best overall facility as evidenced by functional design, efficient interior space planning and appropriate integration of dental equipment and technology

Small Practice (one to two practitioners regularly working in the practice)

Both Dental Office Design of the Year winners will receive a $2,500 Bonus Marketing Fund, feature stories in Dental Economics®, and an engraved plaque for their respective office. Awards and media coverage will be provided to other category winners.
