About the course
Implementing complete dentistry into a practice can be one of the greatest
challenges in dentistry. The central component of successful implementation is a professional experience for each new patient. In this course, the technical and nontechnical requirements for success will be detailed in a logical sequence that will allow dentists to change their respective practice in an effective and efficient manner.

Participants will learn the step-by-step process for creating the new-patient experience. Concepts of the examination appointment are taught including the role of the front office, the clinical assistant, and the dentist. Preparation for the consultation appointment and presentation of the treatment plan will also be discussed followed by the clinical and verbal requirements for gaining patient acceptance.

The important role of the hygienist will also be explored. Systems for dentist/hygienist communication and coordination will be presented, as well as a plan for helping existing patients understand the need to change.
