Impregum Soft Polyether Tray Impression Material offers new delivery option for clinically proven results.

ST. PAUL, Minnesota--3M ESPE has announced the availability of an updated edition of "A Collection of Scientific Results" on Impregum Soft Polyether Impression Material.

The update is an easy-to-read reference describing the numerous studies recently conducted on 3M ESPE's popular and clinically proven impression material.

The booklet includes more than 40 pages of in vitro research data on the superior performance of Impregum Soft Polyether Impression Material, as well as testimonials, clinical survey results, and official ratings.

This collection, exclusively from 3M ESPE's Espertise educational programs, a devoted source for independent, objective information on the latest dental advancements, is available online and highlights the material's clinical features.

The booklet includes new data on the recently launched Impregum Soft Polyether Tray Impression Material, which gives dentists technique flexibility with its dispensing style.

In the studies described in the booklet, Impregum Soft Polyether Tray Impression Material is shown to offer higher flow than VPS materials, high values in tear energy, and an insertion force comparable to VPS tray materials. This demonstrates its suitability for the monophase and one-step tray/wash techniques.

Also notable among the clinical survey results included in the booklet, two studies on improving the crown procedure are described, both utilizing Impregum Penta Soft Quick Step Polyether Impression Material and Six Sigma methodology.

In one study, a group of three dental offices saw a 42 percent decrease in crown seating time after switching to Impregum Penta Soft Polyether Impression Material.

The other study found that a group of four dental clinics reduced its remake rates from 8.5 percent to 2.9 percent after switching to Impregum Penta Soft Polyether Impression Material.

Studies such as these highlight the clinical effectiveness and cost savings that can be realized by implementing an effective impression procedure using Impregum Soft Polyether Impression Material.

"The Impregum brand has long been a favorite among dentists for its forgiving characteristics and accurate results," said Sean Regan, marketing manager, 3M ESPE. "Now, with the introduction of the new Impregum Soft Polyether Tray Impression Material and this updated collection of data, it is clearer than ever that Impregum polyether material offers the convenient delivery methods and clinical precision that dentists demand."
