SOUTHLAKE, Texas--OrthoSynetics, a provider of business services to orthodontic practices worldwide, has announced partnering with Practice Management Software, KODAK ORTHOTRAC.
OrthoSynetics' affiliated doctors own and manage some of the most successful and profitable orthodontic practices in their respective communities. OrthoSynetics affiliated practices showed growth in 2009 despite the down economy with an 8% patient consultation increase year-to-date versus the same period last year.
Adding ORTHOTRAC Software to OrthoSynetics' practice-management services and technologies will help affiliated practices benefit from the latest time and money-saving tools and techniques. This combination of services should significantly reduce the doctors' time focused on administrative tasks and allow them to concentrate on healthy smiles for patients.
"Adding the cutting-edge ORTHOTRAC practice-management software to our industry-leading suite of business services will help practices improve their bottom lines," said Chris Roussos, president and CEO of OrthoSynetics. "Coupled with our full portfolio of business services, this strategic relationship will allow both organizations to optimize their strengths for the success of our doctors."
"Practice-management software technology must not only be easy and intuitive to use, it must ultimately enable doctors to improve every element of patient service and care," said Patrik Eriksson, CEO of PracticeWorks Systems, LLC, the exclusive maker of KODAK ORTHOTRAC Software.
"ORTHOTRAC software has done just that for 27 years, from streamlining customer billing and scheduling processes to innovative clinical file-sharing tools for referrals. OrthoSynetics and ORTHOTRAC are jointly committed to helping doctors grow stronger businesses."
The companies plan to roll out ORTHOTRAC practice-management software to more than 300 affiliated OrthoSynetics practices. Several practices are anticipating transitioning to ORTHOTRAC software, starting January 2010.
Sheila T. Birth, DDS, MS, who is an OrthoSynetics affiliated doctor in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area has been part of the initial launch.
Dr. Birth said: "The speed of competition never slows down in our business, so the right tools are an important part of creating a healthy and growing orthodontic practice. OrthoSynetics helps me take care of the business side of my practice so I can focus on treating my patients. I am very excited that OrthoSynetics will be adding ORTHOTRAC practice-management software. ORTHOTRAC's state of the art practice-management software will help my practice realize tremendous operational efficiencies. All told, I anticipate very favorable and profitable outcomes."
A rollout of ORTHOTRAC software will begin in the spring of 2010 and will continue until OrthoSynetics affiliated practices have successfully incorporated the software.
