A nanooptimized flowable composite, Tetric EvoFlow was developed based on 10 years of clinically proven performance of its predecessor, Tetric Flow. Tetric Flow is a flowable composite that features handling properties and high radiopacity (measured at 280% Al).
Behind the complex "nano-optimized formulation" of Tetric EvoFlow is a filler technology that combines fillers of various types and sizes to maximize physical characteristics. The formula also includes nanocolor pigments to enhance the chameleon effect and a nanomodifier to increase stability and eliminate slumping.
As a result, Tetric EvoFlow composite shows handling properties to create restorations that can be polished quickly and easily while exhibiting a chameleon effect.
Tetric EvoFlow's properties are matched to those of Tetric EvoCeram. The composite also can be combined with other composite restoratives, including IPS Empress Direct.
With Tetric EvoFlow, the radiopacity for A through D shades has been increased to 360% Al to provide greater ease of identification on X-rays.
In addition to conventional shades, the Tetric EvoFlow range includes two new darker shades, IVA5 and IVA6. These shades have been developed for the restoration of cervical defects in elderly patients.
