Kodak has reintroduced its COOK-WAITE CARBOCAINE HCl 2% with NEO-COBEFRIN 1:20,000 (Mepivacaine Hydrochloride and Levonordefrin Injection, USP) Local Injectable Anesthetic.
NEO-COBEFRIN is a vasoconstrictor that produces less cardiac and central nervous system stimulation than Epinephrine. CARBOCAINE 2% with NEO-COBEFRIN provides effective, fast-onset operative anesthesia with few side effects.
The re-launched COOK-WAITE CARBOCAINE 2% with NEO-COBEFRIN will feature updated packaging. It is now packaged in a recyclable box that is easier to handle and stack, for smoother storage and dispensing.
The updated packaging complies with the American Dental Association uniform color-coding standard. The cartridge stopper color is now gray instead of black. The cartons contain 50 cartridges per box with 20 boxes per carton.
"We're tremendously pleased that we're able to bring back this product to our customers," said Gerald Beckler, global product line manager, Kodak's Dental Systems Group. "CARBOCAINE 2% with NEO-COBEFRIN was always a popular choice among dental professionals, who appreciate its rapid onset and low probability of side effects. Now Kodak customers can again obtain this product from a supplier they trust."
