    Greater New York Dental Meeting still a go

    Meeting will proceed as scheduled in November.

    Officials from the Greater New York Dental Meeting have stated that the 77th Annual Greater New York Dental Meeting will take place as scheduled, despite the terrorist attacks on New York City earlier this month. The GNYDM is slated for Nov. 23-28, with exhibit dates set for Nov. 25-28, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York.

    In a letter sent from the GNYDM administrators, officials explain why there is no thought of abandoning the meeting.

    "The Meeting concurs with the position of all New Yorkers that, despite how difficult it is to go about our daily business, we can not and will not give in to those who have tried to break our spirit as a city and as a country. To do otherwise would be to declare them the victors and that is not how we perceive the situation."
