Our lives have changed forever this week.
Do you remember where you were when the Space Shuttle exploded? What were you doing when you heard JFK had been shot? Where were you when the Berlin Wall came down? There are certain events that all of us can remember like it was yesterday, not because it was a joyful time, but because it was a moment when you knew everything was going to change.
Tuesday, September 11, was one of those days.
As an Oklahoman, I remember vividly the Murrah Building bombing on April 19, 1995. I remember the repulsion I felt upon hearing that the lives of 168 fellow Oklahomans had been extinguished by a cowardly act of terrorism. Now we are looking at a scene where the casualties could be 10-fold or more of what we saw in Oklahoma City. Again, innocent Americans whose only crime was living in the greatest country in the world.

As they continue to dig through the rubble of what was once the World Trade Center, keep the victims and their families in your thoughts and prayers. May God bless the people affected by this tragedy, and may God bless America.
