The new ergonomic, high-intensity Microlux 2 transilluminator from AdDent Inc. includes new features requested by many dentists.
The new Microlux 2 transilluminator from AdDent Inc. features an easy-to-use push button that controls the dual-intensity operation and provides for better visualization. The Microlux 2 comes with either a 2- or 3-mm light guide and accepts all existing Microlux autoclavable attachments. The accessory light attachments include a five-pack of mirrors, a 0.75-mm Proximal tip, a 0.75-mm Perio tip, and a 1-mm Endo tip. The ergonomic design provides an anti-roll feature. The unit has a low-battery indicator and a voltage regulator to ensure constant light output. It uses two AAA batteries.
