Observation: The 65% of the Minnesota hygienists above who say it is “very” difficult to find a job is unique. It means that they tie Connecticut in this category. The Twin Cities does have an influence, as hygienists practicing there comprised 63% of the responses.

Observation: Despite the glut of manpower alluded to above, employed hygienists are receiving raises Minnesota more frequently than in other states. That 43% from “one to two years” ago stands out.

Most common hourly pay rates in Minnesota

$34, $35, $36

Observation: When compared to the most common hourly rates across the country, Minnesota is right in the middle of the pack.
