C. Mike Meek, DDS, FAGD, is a 1997 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry. His class was the first undergraduate dental class to receive training in implant dentistry. As such, implant dentistry has been a part of his restorative-driven implant practice from day one. Since then, the application of implant dentistry to all areas of prosthetics has grown organically in his practice and become the most rewarding part of practice for him. Dr. Meek was awarded fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2012 and has made the study of implant dentistry and prosthetics the center of his continuing education. His private dental practice, 38th Street Dental, is located in Central Austin, Texas. Dr. Meek lectures nationally for Nobel Biocare on the subject of dental implants.
