Provider Relief Fund: HHS extends deadline for dentists to August 28
Most dentists are eligible to apply for the funds, which were made possible through the CARES Act. The HHS is distributing relief payments based on 2% of gross revenues for patient care.
On Friday, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it would extend the application deadline for financial relief through the Provider Relief Fund. The fund, which was established by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economics Security Act, is open to most dentists. The HHS has previously stated that disbursements will be made on 2% of gross revenues for patient care.
