The Dental Assisting National Board Inc. (DANB) is now offering an expanded functions dental assistant (EFDA) practice test. Learn more about the test here.
BECOMING AN EXPANDED FUNCTIONS DENTAL ASSISTANT (EFDA) IS A GOAL MANY DENTAL AUXILIARIES SHARE. If you’re looking to learn more about expanded functions, the DALE Foundation, the official affiliate of the Dental Assisting National Board Inc. (DANB), has a new resource—the EFDA Practice Test.
This interactive online study aid features more than 500 practice questions that cover a variety of expanded functions topics. While taking the EFDA Practice Test, there are multiple ways to customize your learning experience. You can review by exam content area, star questions to create a custom set, view individual questions, or review all the questions. And, the six-month access period allows you to study on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone as much as you like.
The DALE Foundation’s EFDA Practice Test is a great resource to help you test your knowledge and meet your goals. The EFDA Practice Test covers the nine exams that comprise DANB’s Certified Preventive Functions Dental Assistant (CPFDA) and Certified Restorative Functions Dental Assistant (CRFDA) certification programs.
Additionally, the EFDA Practice Test can help dental auxiliaries who are looking to earn a state expanded functions credential, such as Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions (RDAEF), or Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA), to name a few.
Each state has its own job titles and requirements for performing expanded functions. To learn more about your state’s requirements, visit the DALE Foundation’s State Dental Assisting Requirements page.
