Comments about the Austin-San Antonio area
- I have been a hygienist in Austin for 18 years. DDS's have a lack of business sense. Most hygienist here will tell you the only way to get a raise to go find another job. And so every 3 years that's exactly what I do.
- Too many dental hygiene schools=not enough jobs=low pay=no benefits ... will have to change professions.
- Making less than I was 5 years ago and benefits reduced to NONE. Hurting financially but at least I am employed.
