RDH Event, the virtual dental hygiene conference, attracted 1,435 dental hygienist to the Sept. 16-17, 2010, conference, which featured Karen Davis, RDH, as the keynote speaker.
The total attendance, which included other dental professionals and exhibitors, amounted to 1,613.
"This was the largest attendance ever for one of our virtual conferences," said Craig Dickson, publisher of RDH magazine and RDH eVillage. "RDH Event had great participation in the exhibit hall and in the auditorium, as well as general networking among the attendees. On the first day, we closed the show at 8 p.m., and there were still 200 dental hygienists online, still communicating with each other about what they had experienced."
The seminar presented by Davis was titled, "America's Sweet Tooth Obsession and Its Impact on Oral and Systemic Health." Other presenters at RDH Event included Stacy McCauley, Julie Thomas, Christine Hovliaras, and Gail Williamson.
RDH Event, which features free registration and free continuing education credits, will archive its seminars here for 90 days.
