It won't be long until the International Dental Show (IDS) kicks off in Cologne, Germany. The 35th installment of the IDS will be held from March 12-16, 2013 and is expected to draw more than 120,000 visitors from more than 140 countries.

Just how big is the IDS? Held every two years, this year's IDS will take up 150,000 square meters within Koelnmesse. Of the nearly 2,000 exhibiting companies, 68 percent will be coming to Cologne from abroad, and the countries that will be most strongly represented are Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, South Korea, Switzerland, China, and the United States.

If you've never been to Cologne for the IDS, you should put it on your "bucket list." If you have been before, you know the important role this show plays in the dental industry.
