Acteon introduces the Diamond Perio Kit, a complete range of diamond-coated mini tips designed for sub-gingival plaque control.
The kit contains three tips (H1 – Universal, H2L – Left and H2R – Right), three color-coded autoclavable wrenches, and one autoclavable translucent box for storing the wrenches and tips.
These diamond-coated mini tips act as periodontal files used to follow ultrasonic debridement done with our Perio Kit. They are designed to remove calculus from very narrow inter-root spaces and furcations and can be oriented vertically or horizontally to instrument the cementum surface down to the bottom of the pocket.
They are also recommended for the debridement of periodontal abscesses, odontoplasty during non-surgical treatments and the removal of granulated soft tissue.
These inserts are designed to be used with the state-of–the-art Newtron technology found in our Satelec Piezo-Ultrasonic units.
