Doral Dental Services of Illinois, Inc. announces an expanded service agreement with Affiliated Network Services (ANS) of Chicago, Illinois, to provide additional technology tools and resources for dentists involved in providing care to Illinois's Medicaid and KidCare members.

Doral Dental Services of Illinois, Inc. is pleased to announce an expanded service agreement with Affiliated Network Services (ANS) of Chicago, Illinois, to provide additional technology tools and resources for dentists involved in providing care to Illinois's Medicaid and KidCare members.

Dentists participating in the Illinois Medicaid and KidCare program(s) will have the opportunity to utilize ANSLink(R) services to verify member eligibility and submit claims electronically. "The Department of Public Aid is pleased that Doral and Affiliated Network Services (ANS) have made it easier for Illinois dentists to do business and serve Medicaid and KidCare members in Illinois," states Mr. Matt Powers, Administrator of the State of Illinois Medicaid Program.

Dr. Fred Horowitz, president of ANS, adds: "The ANSLink(R) system is ideally suited for Medicaid programs, as it allows dentists to verify eligibility and benefits, submit claims and prior authorizations 24/7, from any location they have access to the Internet, and at no cost to the provider. We anticipate that this program will be launched in Illinois this September."

"This agreement should be viewed as a commitment by Doral and ANS to show the dentists, participating members and government officials what can be accomplished with such a program," adds Mr. Gregory Borca, President of Doral Dental Services of Illinois. The funding for the program comes as both an extra commitment of additional funds by Doral, and a substantial discount of fair value services by ANS.

Since the start of the KidCare program on March 1, 1999, the size of the dentist network has more than doubled, greatly increasing access to critical dental services for members throughout the state.
