Colgate-Palmolive names dental hygienists to Oral Health Advisory Board
As part of its commitment to improving oral health in the community, Colgate-Palmolive has named nine dental hygienists to its 2012 Oral Health Advisory Board.
The board members will work with Colgate to find ways to more effectively reach patients across the U.S.
Dental Hygienists are critical partners for Colgate because they share the company’s commitment to help patients achieve optimal oral health. The nine dental hygienists come from a wide range of communities across the U.S.
The meeting with the nine hygienists was held in New York City in August 2012 and providing the board with the opportunity to share ideas. The board members met with top oral care leaders at Colgate in New York City, as well as at the company’s global Colgate Research and Technology Center in Piscataway, N.J.
The Oral Health Advisory Board, established in 2009, is a key element in the Colgate Oral Health Advisor program. This complimentary program offers educational benefits exclusively for the dental hygienist and partners with the leader in oral care.
The seven practicing hygienists on the board were selected to be on the board based on the recognition submitted their colleagues, volunteer outreach efforts and commitment to dental hygiene. Two dental hygiene author/lecturers complete the board composition.
