Bright smiles, holiday cheer, and bountiful mounds of delicious food set the scene at the annual Holiday Christmas Party for the UMKC School of Dentistry chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists. AAWD members had the opportunity to take an evening study break from final exams to celebrate the holiday and enjoy an evening with friends and colleagues. The annual Holiday Party was held in the lovely home of Dr. Connie White, advisor and UMKC faculty. Excitement and laughter filled the rooms as everyone enjoyed one another's company. From honey-baked hams and smoked turkey with cranberry sauce to chocolate fudge brownies and sparkling sugar cookies, members sampled various mouthwatering dishes and homemade desserts. The members also came together to discuss experiences in dental school while sharing advice and guidance for success. Finishing off the evening with a holiday gift exchange, everyone received individual gifts, full tummies, happy faces, and yet another successful year for UMKC SOD chapter.
