A measure to increase access to oral health care for children and adults in rural Maine will become law. Maine Gov. Paul LePage signed the bill, “"An Act To Improve Access to Oral Health Care" (LD 1230), which would create a license for mid-level dental hygiene therapists to provide preventative oral health care.
