World Tour 2006 will be a series of 17 training and education conferences offering the company's progressive continuing and postgraduate education to an estimated 6000,000 dental professionals.

Nobel Biocare, a world leader in innovative esthetic dental solutions, has announced its World Tour 2006.

The tour will be a series of 17 training and education conferences offering the company's progressive continuing and post-graduate education to dental professionals around the world.

Heliane Canepa, President and CEO of Nobel Biocare said, "The Nobel Biocare World Tour 2006 is a unique opportunity for the profession to join forces with the patient as its central focus. It's a groundbreaking forum for dental professionals to learn from their colleagues how our scientifically-based innovations enable them to respond to the increased patient awareness of, and demand for, high end cosmetic, implant and restorative solutions."

The Nobel Biocare World Tour 2006 will bring together world-leading experts in implant and esthetic dentistry with local experts and conference attendees to share their knowledge in state-of-the-art patient treatments.

Live cases transmitted via satellite, including implant surgeries and esthetic restorations, will demonstrate the latest preferred patient treatment options. Additionally, hands-on and in-depth training for all levels of dental professionals will be included.

Nobel Biocare will also present the latest research and clinical findings from its pipeline of products and solutions.

Each conference will include an update on the company's research into the development of a bone inductive implant based upon the TiUnite technology and the Bone Morphogenetic Protein-2 (rhBMP-2). This new technology has the potential to dramatically reduce, or even eliminate, the need for invasive and time-consuming bone grafting procedures.
