In this week's video, Dr. Gordon Christensen answers the question, are disposable scalpels acceptable? At first glance this may sound like a weird question, but Dr. Christensen explains why he believes disposable scalpels are excellent.
He and his staff have tested their metallurgy. Disposable scalpels are inexpensive and sharper than the others, which Dr. Christensen says is "amazing." His office uses them in surgical situations, and on the crown and bridge tray when they’re doing an interocclusal record.
