With this product development, customers can purchase a fully equipped 3D mobile imaging center outfitted with a NewTom VGi Flex Cone Beam CT imaging system. The company indicated that the product, which uses the Mercedes Sprinter Van, is available in a number of different configurations.
These configurations use the newest NewTom Flex Mark IV imaging technology with 7 variable FOVs, patented Safe Beam technology, and high-resolution images--down to .075 mm voxel.

NewTom VGi, the first Cone Beam 3D unit to capture high-resolution images and large volume functionality in a single machine, offers imaging at a low reasonable dose. Due to the product’s medical grade X-ray tube configuration, compact and robust mechanical design, patented Safe Beam technology and multitude of FOVs and resolutions, the unit is suited for imaging center models including mobile applications.
