    Preferred pricing for American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry ends April 11

    Preferred pricing for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s (AACD) Annual Scientific Session, AACD 2014 in Orlando, will end April 11 at 5 p.m. CT. After that date, tuition prices will increase by $150. AACD 2014 will take place at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Fla., and will offer live dentistry in the exhibit hall; a special opening general session, Practice 360, with a Ted-Talk style format; 30th anniversary celebrations; an opening Welcome Reception at Universal Studios, a Celebration of Excellence gala to honor the Accreditation Class of 2014, and much more.

    AACD 2014 will take place at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Fla., just minutes from major attractions such as Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, and access to shopping and entertainment. This year’s event will offer live dentistry in the exhibit hall — an AACD first; a special opening general session, Practice 360, with a Ted-Talk style format; 30th anniversary celebrations; an opening Welcome Reception at Universal Studios, a Celebration of Excellence gala to honor the Accreditation Class of 2014, and much more. “If you’re looking for a chance to get away and get educated in a beautiful setting, AACD 2014 is for you,” said AACD President Dr. Jack Ringer. “AACD’s hands-on workshops, lectures, and networking opportunities will not only strengthen your commitment to cosmetic dentistry, but will give you the edge you need to excel in this field. If this is your first meeting, it will be a great one!” The Accreditation Written Exam also will be offered at AACD 2014 on May 1. Attendees must register for the exam in advance. Those who pass the exam will have completed the first step in the life-changing Accreditation journey to receive the AACD’s coveted credential. AACD also will honor the Accreditation Class of 2014 in Orlando onstage, and attendees will have a chance to see some of their best work in the Showcase of Excellence onsite. Those who take the exam also will receive a copy of the all-new Guide to Accreditation Criteria.

    Attendees also can support the AACD Charitable Foundation’s Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program at the GBAS Lawn Party, which takes place on May 1. Tickets for the event can be purchased in the AACD Registration System. GBAS restores the smiles and lives of domestic violence survivors who have suffered dental injuries as a result of intimate partner abuse.
