Fish oil a therapy for periodontal disease?

Although this is not conclusive evidence, intake of fish oil is recommended for health benefits beyond the teeth.

The scientific group advocates the need for more well-designed studies. A clinical trial is underway in Australia to investigate the effects of fish oil as a therapy for periodontitis.
