Atlantis Components, Inc., an innovator in the dental implant market, has announced the company continues to reduce costs for dentists, surgical specialists and labs by providing an Atlantis HT' (High Torque) Titanium Abutment Screw with every Atlantis Abutment. The Atlantis HT Titanium Abutment Screw reduces the overall costs of Atlantis Abutments to clinicians and labs. In addition, the Atlantis Screw is compatible with the same driver used with the manufacturer's screw. Zimmer interface abutments will continue to be supplied with a Zimmer branded abutment screw.
"The Atlantis Screw is a benefit to patients and dental labs, continuing the company's practice of providing innovative, easy to use products," said Scott Ward, General Manager of DTI Ward Dental Laboratory. "One of the primary benefits is that the Atlantis Screw allows labs to work with a dedicated lab screw while still offering the patient a unique screw for final abutment placement."
The Atlantis Abutment is the first patient-specific abutment to be designed and fabricated using a patented, proprietary process combining state-of-the-art 3D optical scanning, an advanced software-based expert system and CNC machining methods. The revolutionary product that results from this sophisticated technology requires no hand-modification. Atlantis provides an anatomically correct solution that combines excellent esthetic outcomes, ease of use and higher profitability than with traditional protocols in a single product. Using Atlantis Abutments, dental practitioners involved in all phases of the implant process can achieve outstanding esthetics while contributing to a dramatic reduction in chair time and patient visits.
"The Atlantis HT Titanium Abutment Screw demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality dental components to our customers," said Michael Mancini, vice president, Sales and Marketing. "Both labs and clinicians will save time and money with the Atlantis HT Screw from Atlantis."
