3DDX Connect permits dental clinicians and radiologists to send CT maxillofacial imaging scan files for digital dental support services.

BOSTON, Massachusetts--3D Diagnostix has announced the release of 3DDX Connect, a convenient way for dental clinicians and radiologists to send CT maxillofacial imaging scan files for digital dental support services.

3DDX Connect is free to use and securely transfers files between 3D Diagnostix and clinicians/radiologists. It provides secure transfers in both directions for HIPAA compliance.

One key feature lets clinicians share their 3-D cases and treatment plans. Users just navigate to the 3D Diagnostix Web site using their Web browser, register if it's their first time, log in and enter the e-mail address of the clinician they want to receive the case.

Once logged in, users can simply check boxes to order services à la carte. 3DDX Connect accepts major credit cards for efficient shopping online.

Service options include quadrant or arch 3-D reconstructions, radiology reports, treatment plans and online implant software training. Sending a file is as easy as attaching a file in an e-mail. Special instructions or areas of concern can be entered, too.

In addition to sending CT scan files or receiving 3D reconstructions for implant planning and other maxillofacial clinical needs, 3DDX Connect allows clinicians to track the progress of services for their case and comprehensive billing information.
