Hands-on courses expanded

June 27, 2007
Courses teach general practitioners how to retain patient's dentures with implant system.

Dentatus has announced the expansion of its 2007-2008 Atlas hands-on workshop schedule due to demand.

The courses, currently offered twice a month in cities around the U.S., have predominantly attracted general practitioners who are serious about incorporating implants into their practice to better meet the needs of the hugely underserved population who currently suffer discomfort associated with lower dentures.

Dentists, their assistants and students participate in learning from Dr. Keith Rossein, how to install Atlas Implants into a hard model, to retrofit the denture and reline it with Tuf-Link silicone material. All steps and instruments are precisely the same as used in the operatory.

Doctors keep the finished model allowing them to show the benefits of this system to prospective patients. This simple and predictable procedure is non-invasive, requires no surgical flap or sutures and can be completed in less than one hour.
