Organization announces initiative to support American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day

Dental Divas, a leading professional organization designed to support the needs of women dentists, today announced an initiative to support the Go Red For Women movement. Beginning Friday, February 4th, and continuing throughout the month of February, 10% of all membership dues will be donated to the American Heart Association.

According to the National Heart Association, heart disease affects one in three female adults and continues to be the leading cause of death in women, claiming over 480,000 women in the United States each year. Go Red For Women celebrates the energy, passion, and power that women have and can use to band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke.

In addition to donations made to the American Heart Association, Dental Divas encourages its members to support National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 4th, by wearing their favorite shade of red and posting pictures on Facebook at www.facebook.com/DentalDivas.
