Angular cheilitis can be due to nutritional deficiencies (think weight loss meds and GLP-1 agonists), immunosuppressive drugs (opportunistic infections can be a problem), other medications that may cause xerostomia, cannabis, and even environmental issues. Further, it can have dental origins.
