AvaDent Digital Dentures brings Removable Prosthetics into the Digital Age

Scottsdale, AZ – Global Dental Science, LLC (GDS) announced the introduction of AvaDent™ Digital Dentures. Developed by an international team of leaders in the digital dentistry field, the AvaDent Digital Dentures brings the precision, esthetics, speed, and profitability of Computer Aided Design/Computed Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology to removable dentistry.

AvaDent Digital Dentures, whose name is derived from Ava meaning rebirth and Dent meaning dentition, make it possible for dentists to offer their patients a precise fitting, esthetic denture in as little as two appointments. Additionally, AvaDent allows the dentist to offer the digital denture using standard clinical procedures, without computer skills or capital investment required. AvaDent Digital Dentures are manufactured exclusively in a new, state-of-the-art, 27,000 square foot facility in Scottsdale. GDS dental technicians use 3-D laser scanners, proprietary computer design software, and advanced five-axis milling stations to create this first-in-the-world digital prosthetic.

“One additional advantage of AvaDent Digital Dentures is the permanent digital record produced for each case. This record offers the patient and dentist a new degree of convenience and security, while increasing patient retention for the practice,” said Tim Thompson, President of GDS. “This changes dentures forever.”

AvaDent Digital Dentures half-day seminars are being offered on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5 and 6, at the Courtyard Downtown/Blackstone in Forth Worth, Texas, to dentists who would like to learn more about AvaDent Digital Dentures. For information about the seminars or AvaDent Digital Dentures, call 855-AVADENT (282-3368) or go to www.avadent.com.
