Curing light includes Valox resin exterior and an advanced battery design for improved durability and performance.
ORANGE, California--Kerr Corporation has introduced the Demi Plus LED Light Curing System. Demi Plus is powered by Demetron Technology and features a number of design enhancements, including Valox resin exterior and an advanced battery design for improved durability and performance. “We rely heavily on feedback from our customers to constantly innovate and create new products that improve patient care, make people’s jobs easier, and contribute to the overall success of our customers’ practices,” said product manager Matthew Goto. “Demi Plus is the direct result of a number of advancements based on customer feedback, and we are excited to unveil the most advanced premium curing light to date.” Demi Plus holds the industry’s first self-cleaning “cap and swipe” battery design. This feature simplifies charging. A single charge provides a dentist 300 full charges, rechargeable cycles. In addition, the exterior is composed of Valox resin, a high-performance plastic that is lightweight yet highly durable. Additional enhancements include an extended turbo light guide that improves access for posterior procedures, and a three-year warranty. In addition to the design enhancements, Demi Plus maintains the same features as previous curing light models. The wand is lightweight and ergonomic, while the Periodic Level Shifting technology drives cool, continuous high output to deliver a true five-second cure for shades A3 and lighter without generating excess heat. As with all Demetron lights, a whisper-quiet fan prevents the unit from overheating and extends the overall life of the LEDs. All Demetron light guides are compatible with the new Demi Plus. The full range of Demetron units, replacement parts and accessories, as well as the full line of Kerr products, is available from preferred authorized Kerr dealers.
