ROCK HILL, South Carolina--Made from pure titanium, the V-Post from KOMET USA is a root post system with a cylindrical shank, designed for a wide range of applications.

Due to the variety of different head designs available within the V-Post range, the restoration can be adapted to various coronal situations.

Those designs include:

* V-Post (cylindrical head for reconstruction of partly destroyed teeth or multi-rooted teeth/multiple post placements)

* V-Post X ("Christmas Tree" design of the coronal part for reconstruction of severely destroyed teeth)

* V-Post X ELO (reconstruction of severely destroyed teeth with long clinical crowns)

The heads of the V-Post X and V-Post X ELO with its individual segments guarantee secure retention of restorative materials.

The V-Post is available as active (threaded) or passive post. It comes in three sizes: 1.3, 1.5 and 1.75 mm and four shanks: 6, 7, 9 and 13 mm in order to correspond to different radicular situations. It's ideal for build-ups using moldable materials.
