C-Posts designed to provide lasting, stable restorations

May 29, 2008
C-Posts are part of the ER-Root Post System.

ROCK HILL, South Carolina--New ceramic C-Posts from KOMET USA are designed to offer practitioners an esthetically pleasing restoration.

The type of ceramic material used for C-Posts, zirconium oxide, has been successful for many years in dental and medical applications because of its corrosion behavior, biocompatibility and mechanical loading strength.

The tooth-colored C-Post allows the practitioner to achieve a lasting and esthetically stable restoration.

Teeth and remaining tooth structures that are restored or reinforced with C-Posts can be used with prosthetic abutments and restored with ceramic crowns, partial crowns and veneers without impairing the natural tooth color.

Even a small tooth structure can be sufficiently stabilized without significant loss of tooth substance. KOMET USA C-Posts are part of the ER-Root Post System, which also includes DentinPost (fiber-reinforced composite post) and various titanium posts.
