Discs adhere mildly on or near a dental sore and time release collagen to coat and soothe the ulcer while relieving pain and decreasing healing time.

CankerMelts all-natural, oral-adhering discs can be used for aphthous ulcers, denture sores, and other mouth sores.

The discs adhere mildly on or near a dental sore and time release collagen to coat and soothe the ulcer while relieving pain and decreasing healing time. Licorice root extract is the active ingredient most widely used in Chinese herbal medicine. It is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory.

In NIH-funded clinical studies on aphthous ulcers conducted at the University of Washington comparing CankerMelts to no-treatment controls, 80% of subjects using CankerMelts had no more pain after three days of use while pain increased for the no-treatment control group.

Canker sores treated with CankerMelts shrank to one-tenth their original size after seven days while untreated ulcers grew larger.
