T-Scan III system is a tool that allows dentists to determine and restore the balance of a patient's bite.

BOSTON, Massachusetts--Tekscan has announced a new version of T-Scan software.

The T-Scan III system is a tool that allows dentists to determine and restore the balance of a patient's bite. It is an accurate procedure of timing and force measurement unlike the traditional paper, wax, or pastes.

T-Scan creates an occlusal movie of how the teeth come together and separate in order to help analyze the bite. This saves a dentist and patient time and money.

T-Scan software
Recognizing the need for an easier solution in analyzing a patient's bite, Tekscan developed new software.

"Recognizing the need for an easier solution in analyzing your patients bite, we developed new software that saves valuable time and money," said Brent Thompson, sales and marketing manager for Tekscan.

With functionality enhancements and an enhanced user interface, this program improves the data collection process and simplifies the data on screen. T-scan software has an automatic time measurement feature and more flexibility in comparing a series of recordings.

With the click of a button, movie comparison charts for occlusion and disclusion time differentials are displayed. Progressive improvements pre-, mid-, and post- treatment are obtainable for review and documentation purposes.

This new T-Scan software aids dentists with case finishing and checking restorative cases to help prevent remakes. The software allows the clinician to see force percentage per tooth, key information when it comes to protecting the dental work they have created.

The T-Scan system is a beneficial tool when re-evaluating existing patients. Helping to ensure dental work, the software helps dentists see potential occlusal problems before they are noticed by a patient.

The T-Scan system is used by many dental education centers in the country including the Dawson Academy, Hornbrook Group, Dr. Dick Barnes Group, Productive Dentist Academy, and Esthetic Professionals.
