J. Morita has announced a new assortment pack for Foundation, a collagen-based, bone filling augmentation material for use in extraction sites. Foundation is shaped in bullet form and is available in both small and medium sizes for easy placement. The new assortment pack contains a convenient mix of 3 small and 3 medium bullets. With the ability to trim or shape the material, and both sizes now available in one box, the assortment pack will help clinicians properly fill any socket with ease. It is available for sale in North America.

"It is critical to augment every extraction socket and Foundation makes it simple for any clinician," said Dr. Jeffrey Turchi, Director of Educational and Clinical Affairs and Senior Product Manager. "The new Assortment Pack contains both small and medium bullets ensuring that the appropriate size is available because sockets come in all shapes and sizes."

As one of Morita's fastest growing products, Foundation has become a popular choice amongst clinicians because of its clinical effectiveness and ease of use. It is not a bone substitute, but rather stimulates new bone growth at an accelerated pace. Immediately following an extraction, Foundation is placed into the socket. The surrounding cells and capillaries gradually infiltrate Foundation. As the extraction socket heals, it is filled with new augmented bone. Independent study results are available upon request.
