The Myerson SleepBetter EMA custom oral appliance, available through Glidewell Laboratories, provides a prescription for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Designed with patient-interchangeable elastic straps attached to upper and lower trays, the EMA provides gradual advancement of the mandible and opens the bite to allow for less restricted airflow during sleep.
The appliance features bite pads that increase vertical opening and maximizes room for the tongue, and as many as five options of elastic straps to fit stages of treatment.
