NEWBERG, Oregon--A-dec has announced the release of a new treatment room equipment line called Decade Plus.
The line launched at the Greater New York Dental Meeting Nov. 25 with availability for orders beginning Nov. 26. The Decade Plus line includes a patient chair, two styles of Cascade delivery systems, and a number of convenient options.
Decade Plus begins with a rugged, streamlined dental chair fitted with sewn or seamless upholstery in a selection of 40 colors. The chair's thin backrest (1-1/2 inches [38 mm] at its thickest point) allows operators to lower their hands into a more ergonomic operating position while patients are comfortably seated. A double-articulating headrest, 60° swivel, and quick-release armrests are standard.
Doctors will appreciate the versatile delivery system choices with Decade Plus. Traditional- and Continental-style Cascade delivery systems are available as value-priced, full-featured selections, or basic "build-up" configurations. Regardless of the configuration, these systems retrofit to any existing chair with a 2-inch (51 mm) post adapter, so doctors will have the ability to easily upgrade their treatment rooms.
To further optimize value, the full-featured delivery systems come standard with a chair touchpad, intraoral light source, fiber-optic handpieces tubing, and a 300-watt power supply.
For assistant-side options, doctors can choose a vitreous china cuspidor, telescoping-arm or cuspidor-mount assistant's instrumentation, pivoting tray holders, and dental light. Additional accessories include innovative highspeed handpieces with LED lighting, precision lowspeed attachments, as well as built-in choices such as an electric motor, intraoral camera, scaler, and curing light.
